Dr Aidan Woodward

Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist with a doctorate in chronic liver disease and extensive experience in gastroscopy and colonoscopy, including GESA recertification in colonoscopy.

Dr Aidan Woodward

Dr Aidan Woodward is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of digestive and liver conditions.

After graduating from The University of Queensland, Dr Woodward completed advanced training at both the Gold Coast and Princess Alexandra Hospitals. He subsequently completed a PhD in the field of chronic liver disease, and has a special interest in hepatology, including viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease and fatty liver disease.

Dr Woodward holds a public appointment as a Senior Staff Specialist at Mater Hospital Brisbane and is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland.

He is committed to providing evidence-based, personalised care and takes the time to listen, explain and support patients through their treatment journey.

Dr Woodward works closely with referring GPs and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care for every patient. Clear communication and timely updates are provided throughout the patient’s care.
